The Warriors have selected Genseler, a global architecture firm founded and based in the Bay Area, to design the interior of the Chase Center. Gensler is widely regarded as the world’s leading collaborative design firm, and has been responsible for the interiors of several other sport venues including the Cleveland Brown’s FirstEnergy Stadium, the new $250 million stadium for the MLS expansion team, the Los Angeles Football Club, and the Oakland A’s spring training facility, Hohokam Stadium.
Warriors Chief Operating Officer of the Chase Center stated, “Gensler is a perfect fit for Chase Center, bringing both incredible local experience and extensive global expertise to our project – and of course a track record of architectural excellence. We want an arena that is a reflection of the Bay Area, but also a stand-out in the world of sports and entertainment. Gensler will help us achieve that mission.”
With the addition of Gensler, the Warriors move one step closer to the 2019 opening of the Chase Center.
